Office Boy or Girl Job Responsibilities:An Office Clerk may also be referred to as a Tea Boy or Peon among other terms. They carry various job responsibilities on their shoulders, including making tea and coffee for staff and visitors, performing outdoor banking tasks, managing and filing documents, printing, faxing, making photocopies, cleaning the entire office, and other related tasks. In some organizations, the office boy may also handle the duties of a Front Desk Receptionist in the absence of the receptionist.
In this role, they are responsible for answering and forwarding incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments by operating the PABX system. Additionally, taking messages, receiving couriers for visitors, and delivering them to the related staff are also part of this job.
